PS4’s Asemblance Delayed in Europe Due to PEGI Rating System

on June 20, 2016 1:39 PM

Were you planning to delve into Nilo Studios’ psychological-thriller, Asemblance? Here’s hoping you aren’t in Europe — the digital-only game which was originally releasing tomorrow will be coming in roughly two weeks.

Announced by the game creator (and Bungie veteran) Niles Sankey, the process to get a game PEGI rated requires “participation in an online training course, submission of materials and builds, and then waiting for the materials to be reviewed.” This is compared to North America’s ESRB rating system, which “is incredibly streamlined for digital game releases.”

Thankfully, the snag appears to be Europe specific and limited to the PlayStation 4. The game will still be available on PS4 tomorrow for North America, and on PC worldwide.
