We’re still quite a while away from the release of Project Morpheus, and we don’t yet know its price and exact launch date. Occasion for gamers to try it are still rare, but one is coming in a couple of months.

GameStop announced with a press release that Sony’s virtual reality solution will be playable for fans at GameStop Expo, that will be held in Vegas on September 2nd. The headset will be present “with a large array of game demos and game stations.”

GameStop Director of Merchandising Eric Bright commented:

“Having experienced virtual reality with Project Morpheus at E3 this year, I can confidently say that this is something that truly must be seen to be believed. We are excited to bring this innovative product to our EXPO, so that our fans can be one of the first to experience virtual reality.”

Registration for GameStop Expo is currently open, with general admission passes priced at $40 and limited VIP Passes for $110. Student passes will be available on site during the afternoon of the day of the Expo for $20.
