For the creatives at heart, Sony has released a new update (1.07) for Sharefactory with a surprising amount of content. Players can expect much requested features like slow motion and time lapse effects in a new program called “Time Bender.”

Additionally, the most interesting addition is Sharefactory Events — the tool will let developers and publishers make a list of video creation requirement to which players can edit and submit their videos. While there are no events at the moment, apparently the first one is in the works.

Other new additions include the following:

  • Total number of clips have increased to 50
  • Total number of music track clips have increased to 12
  • Layering for stickers and text
  • 2 new music tracks
  • 3 new wipe transitions
  • 5 new dissolve transitions
  • New color picker — text is no longer contained to a limited color palette
