With the hustle and bustle of PSN lately for new PS4 titles and more, even the busy network has to take a break once in a while for a checkup.

Sony announced through the PlayStation Blog that PSN will be undergoing a period of maintenance today, March 10th, 2014, to perform a routine check-in on the online service. The blog post mentioned that the maintenance is scheduled from 11:30am-5:00pm EST (8:30am-2:00pm PST), with the check-in expected to last for 5.5 hours.

During this time, the PlayStation Blog also mentioned that users that have signed in since March 6th will still be able to access and play games online along with “partner apps such as Netflix” during the scheduled time of maintenance, but other apps/services like the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management “will not be available during this time, and users may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access these services.”
