During tonight's NIS America press event, the company announced that the visual novel Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness will head to PC on April 24. Like other games localized to English via the Japanese publisher, the game will see its release on Steam.

Originally available exclusively on PS4 and PS Vita in the West, the visual novel puts players in the role of two original characters: enforcer Takuma Tsurugi and inspector Kugatachi Nadeshiko. Both these heroes will have a variety of cases to solve as they come to terms with their own pasts.

The game allows players to chose from multiple options on how to approach situations and solve problems. We reviewed the game on PlayStation 4 and praised it for it's immersion and unforgiving approach to detective work. We're happy to see that PC players will now have a chance to jump into these cases and uncover some dark secrets.
