Q.U.B.E., the First WTF Game of the Year, is Now Available on Steam

I remember briefly hearing about Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) nearly two years ago, but it unfortunately fell slowly into obscurity. Now it’s apparently appeared out of nowhere to release on Steam, and it’s looking equal parts purty and confusing.

At first glance it looks like a first person puzzler in the vein of the Portal games, but a closer look makes me think otherwise. Check the trailer after the jump to see what I mean.

It most certainly looks more focused on gameplay than narrative, but the problem is I have no freaking clue what the gameplay actually consists of. The weirdest part? That makes me want to play it even more.

Good thing there’s a demo available; hit the Steam page to purchase the game (15% off for a limited time) or download the demo, if you’re opposed to blind buying such a mindtrip.

When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
