During Bethesda's E3 Press Conference today id Software showcased a brand new trailer for Quake Champions, its upcoming free-to-play shooter that was announced at last year's E3.

The gameplay shows many of the game's characters, and also reveals that BJ Blazkowicz from Wolfenstein as Quake Champions' next hero. The game is also receiving an E3 2017 update that will add three brand new maps and a Tri-Bolt weapon. The game's Closed Beta will stay online 24/7 starting today, so you can play Quake Champions whenever you want.

At the end of the trailer, the Quake World Championships were revealed. It will pit the world's best Quake Champions players against each other at this year's QuakeCon, and will feature a $1 million prize pool.
