on November 1, 2013 2:48 PM

Gamers have been asking for a long time for a PS Vita version of the hit indie RPG, Rainbow Moon. And after a nice three and half minute teaser nearly a year ago, EastAsiaSoft and SideQuest have finally unveiled the PS Vita launch date, along with a brand new Rainbow Moon trailer.

As you can view in the trailer below, Rainbow Moon on the Vita will have Cross-Save support, allowing players to save their game and switch to the console version at any time. The game will also host a variety of unsaid improvements through the 50 hours of gameplay.

Rainbow Moon on the Vita is set to release on December 3rd; for a closer look, also check out the screenshots below. The game’s follow-up, Rainbow Skies, is currently being developed for the PS3 and PS Vita for a release sometime next year in 2014. Skies will take place in a new world (in fact, two parallel worlds), and will involve new gameplay mechanics, like monster taming.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
