The Ratchet & Clank series has always held a special place in the hearts of PlayStation fans as one of the most iconic series to come from the house of Sony, and later this year the dynamic duo will be premiering on the big screen and will be bringing some big named talent along with them.
Details from The Hollywood Reporter announced that the voice cast for Sony Pictures’ upcoming film adaptation of Ratchet & Clank has officially been revealed, with several notable stars coming to the picture including Paul Giamatti (The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Rosario Dawson (Netflix’s Daredevil), John Goodman (Flight), Bella Thorne (Blended), and Sylvester Stallone (Rocky).
In addition to the notable Hollywood talent, the Ratchet & Clank feature film will also include the core voice cast from the original video game series including James Arnold Taylor as Ratchet, David Kaye as Clank, Armin Shimerman as Nefarious, and Jim Ward as Captain Qwark.
Screening this week for distributors at the Cannes Film Festival in France, Rainmaker Entertainment President and CCO Michael Hefferon commented on the voice talent being brought in to help bring Ratchet & Clank to the big-screen, mentioning in a statement:

Insomniac Games founder and CEO Ted Price also commented on the team’s devotion to bringing Ratchet & Clank to the big screen, mentioning:

Ratchet & Clank is currently screening this week at the Cannes Film Festival, with release expected in 2015.
