Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (also known as Ratchet & Clank: QForce in PAL countries) will finally be coming to the Vita as previously promised. This news comes via the Playstation Blog and SCEA producer Greg Phillips, who personally apologized for the game’s delay.
As Phillips noted, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault on the Vita was due out last month in January instead of November when the PS3 version released, to ensure the best portable quality for the game. The game has been pushed back again to give developer Tin Giant–handlers of the port–more time to make the Vita version as good as its console counterpart.
For players who have already purchased the PS3 version of the game and are waiting for the free Vita version that comes with it (as part of the Cross Buy feature), Sony is offering Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked for North American PS3 systems, and MotorStorm RC as a free download to European, Austrailian, and New Zealand Vita handhelds.
Deadlocked will be available when Full Frontal Assault releases for the Vita. The download voucher for MotorStorm RC will be sent out via email before the end of February, and will be valid for 60 days, available only to gamers who have played Full Frontal Assault at least once while connected to the internet, by the end of this week.
