Rayman Legends already proved itself as a worthy tale on the current-gen consoles as the game released this past September for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC, and Vita, but with confirmation from Ubisoft today, it looks like Rayman will be taking his biggest steps yet onto next-gen consoles.

Ubisoft held a financial call reinstating the company’s earnings from their fiscal year, and in addition also confirmed some details of new releases to expect from the company in the coming months, one of which being a port of Rayman Legends for next-gen consoles. After reporting that the game had sold nearly one million units across its release on current-gen platforms, Ubisoft confirmed that the game will be heading onto Xbox One and PS4 in February 2014.

Even with the consoles just a few days away, Rayman will be back to keep you occupied in the few months after the console launches – stay tuned for more details on Rayman Legends for the next-gen consoles.
