Ready at Dawn Dev Shows The Secrets Behind The Order: 1886’s Amazing and Brutal Animations on PS4

One of the most impressive aspects of The Order: 1886‘s visuals are its fluid animations, with character models interacting with each other seamlessly and realistically.

Senior Animator Jason Shum just released two videos giving us a glimpse on how those animations were made on his Vimeo channel.

The first video shows a reel including both mocap and keyframe animation, the second showcases a progression from reference shot to the in-game animation, letting us see part of the workflow.
