Today, developer Giant Sparrow (the team behind The Unfinished Swan) and publisher Annapurna Interactive announced that What Remains of Edith Finch will finally launch on PS4 and PC on April 25, 2017, after four years of development and substantial anticipation.

First time hearing about What Remains of Edith Finch? No problem: here's a brief overview via Giant Sparrow:

What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she’s the last one in her family left alive. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.

As you may know, the game was originally being published by Sony, but was dropped for unknown reasons.

What Remains of Edith Finch will cost $19.99 USD when it launches. However, it has also been revealed that the game is a part of the PlayStation Store PLAY Collective lineup, which means you will receive a 20% discount if you preorder.
