It has come to my attention that the Resident Evil series is being very popular on the Wii console as of late. Then again, it is more fun to play a rail shooter on the Wii than on any other system, so keep bringing it Capcom. Today Capcom released the unveiling of their newest addition to the Wii, Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero. It gives the Wii fans the chance to play classic Resident Evil games, most likely the ones they have missed in their earlier youth.

The game exposes the back story and internal tyranny of the Umbrella Corporation and let’s you discover the origins of the T-Virus. It brings you a storyline that leads up to the famous mansion event. The game brings Rebecca Chambers, rookie to S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team, to Raccoon city, where she needs to investigate a series of horrid murders. Billy Coen, an ex-marine who was convicted of killing 23 people, meets up with Rebecca along the way. With the Partner Zapping system, players could use Billy and Rebecca simultaneously. The game is being released December 1, 2009.
