A Resident Evil inspired TV show is coming. Entitled ARKLAY, the show will focus on detective James Reinhardt who is investigating the suspicious murders of Raccoon City.

Currently in the development by Mance Media, it is the brain-child of Shawn Christopher Lebert who is also writing the show.

While details are still being kept under wraps, the following description is available:

Inspired by the Resident Evil franchise, ARKLAY is a new scripted survival horror series that delves into the mysterious homicides of Raccoon City. When Detective James Reinhardt is thrust into a series of bizarre homicides, he unravels the city is hiding a dark conspiracy. Learning a fatal virus is connected to it all, Reinhardt discovers it’s already coursing through him. With time no longer on his side, he must solve the conspiracy to save his own life.

If everything goes according to plan, ARKLAY is scheduled to air in 2015.
