Resident Evil: Revelations brought some more old-school Resident Evil flair to 3DS (and later to Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U) back in 2012, and now through a leaked listing on Xbox.com, it appears the Revelations will continue in a new sequel.

A listing was discovered through the pages of Xbox.com for Biohazard: Revelations 2 ("Biohazard" being the Japanese title of the series), alongside box art for the game plus the first screenshots from the title, giving strong evidence that a sequel to Revelations is on the way. The listing has since appeared to be taken down, and it is currently unknown what systems the game will be releasing for, although the box art does show Xbox 360 artwork (but may just be a placeholder).

Capcom at this time has not officially confirmed or announced the sequel, though Revelations' strong performance on 3DS and consoles makes it a likely candidate for a sequel. The studio is also currently working on a current-gen update of the original Resident Evil, based on the 2002 remake for GameCube.

Stay tuned for more information on Resident Evil: Revelations 2 as it develops - in the meantime, you can check out the leaked box art and first screenshot from the title below.
