Resident Evil Zero HD is a remastered version of the prequel to the original Resident Evil game, Taking place before the infamous mansion incident and starring fan favorite characters Rebecca Chambers and criminal Billy Coen.

Like the remade version of the first RE, it uses the original assets from the game, but now completely enhanced. For instance signs that were too blury to make out are now visible.

Zero HD features 1080p for current-gen consoles, fully remastered 5.1 surround sound and the option to switch between updated and classic tanks controls

There’s also the previously announced Wesker Mode, which is unlocked after beating the main game. This mode stars Uroboros-enhanced Albert Wesker paired with mind controlled Rebecca. He sports high powered eye lasers, can run through levels super fast and is just plain cheap.

As revealed before, the Origins Collection has the retail version of Zero HD and will be launching January 19th. By pre-ordering, players will get two costumes: the Nurse costume for Rebecca and the Final Fight Cody costume for Billy.
