Resolutions and FPS on PS4 and Xbox One, Confirmed and Rumored – PS4 Has Only Two Sub-1080p Games

on February 17, 2014 3:05 PM

With more news and rumors outing the resolution and frame rate of upcoming Xbox One and PS4 games, it’s time to give a look at the whole scenario, and Twitter user Shane Stocks created a neat list that gives us a nice overview on the situation.

The list, that you can see below, shows that there’s a large variation between developers on whether high resolution or frame rate is the preferred result, but on PS4 there are only two games that are sub-1080p, one of which is only rumored, and for which the development studio is said to be still working on an improvement.

We’ll have to wait and see if Microsoft will manage to improve the situation as the generation progresses, because for now they seem to be at a clear disadvantage in terms of raw power.
