Retro City Rampage Ventures Its Way Onto A Trailer For 3DS

Retro City Rampage has found its way onto another platform and Nintendo has finally released a trailer for the retro-inspired 2D drive ’em up game coming to the 3DS eShop later this year.

This cult classic was already found a home on PS3, Vita, Xbox 360 and PC where developer Brian Provinciano noted on his blog that it sold 170K units and moved another 270K on PlayStation Plus. However, with all these various ports, one might question how important a 3DS version is, but Provinciano puts us at ease by stating he “designed RCR with pick-up-and-play in mind,” and it was arguably best-suited for a handheld device.  We also shouldn’t forget the fact that 3DS is a very popular platform and could give the game a whole new audience.

You can check out the trailer below.
