Rhythm-Action Evangelion Game Certainly Piques My Interest

Anyone who has watched any amount of anime has likely seen the Evangelion series and movies. It still remains one of the best-regarded series of all time. Now, take that great anime series, toss in some rhythm and action game elements, and bam! You have Evangelion: 3rd Impact for the PSP. Famitsu showed the game off for the first time and ran down some details of who is involved. It may surprise you, as it did me.

Grasshopper Manufacture, along with Suda 51, is working on this title based off the Evangelion movies, and it’s likely to be a hoot. It’s a shame we’ll never see it outside of Japan. That still doesn’t stop us from checking it out by way of the first screens and the three different packages in which the game will be available. Also, I love Asuka. Sorry, had to throw that out there. Hit the break to check out the goods, compliments of Famitsu.
