Rise of Incarnates, the upcoming free-to-play brawler by Bandai Namco will receive a beta on August 8th for PC. It was announced at a panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The beta will be available for ten full days.

Players will be able to choose between Mephistopheles, Lilith, Grim Reaper, and Ares. Brynhildr will be added to the character roster later on August 13th. Players can battle it out in New York City, and later on Paris when it's made available on August 13th as well. Both levels are designed with environments in which players can use to their advantage.

In addition, the beta will also feature an awakening system, skill cubes to enhance your character's performance, and in-game purchasable items to widen your selection of in-game character customization options. You can also tag a friend to battle with over multiple matches.

Some of the improvements from the Alpha include input improvements that increase control responsiveness, improved UI, better tutorials, more screen resolution options, and a variety of customization items for characters.

The game is being handled by the development teams responsible for the Soulcalibur and Tekken series. It was also announced that Bandai Namco is working with MadCatz, the Arcade Stick manufacturer to develop a controller for the game.

You can sign up to the closed-beta through three different links depending on your location. If you live in North America you can sign up through here, if you live in Latin America you can sign up through here and if you live in Brazil then you can sign up through this link.
