Rock Band 3 Goes Ebony and Ivory

Rock Band whores have already probably gone through numerous play-though’s of Rock Band: Green Day, which is currently up on Xbox Live. As they quit the demo, a nice little image that teases of an obvious Rock Band 3 is displayed on-screen. What is shown, however – aside from the familiar instruments of guitar, bass, drums and microphone – is a fourth instrument that looks very familiar to the keys of a piano, unless, of course, they’re showing off Nancy Kerrigan’s teeth, which is very unlikely.

Pictured above, Captain Obvious shows us the familiar and iconic icons of Rock Band with the addition of an extra one which obviously hints at a piano, opening up much more options as to exactly what kind of music we can expect to shake our butts to.

We are very aware that not every song carries the tune of a piano, but don’t think that awesome songs like Rock the Casbah by The Clash and What a Fool Believes by the Doobie Brothers won’t spice things up a bit. Hell, knowing the skills of the DualShockers staff, I’m pretty sure that, with the addition of the piano, we’ll be having women throw their shoulder-boulder-holders at us.

Check out some of those awesome tunes below that I am praying makes their way onto RB3.

Francois calls dibs on the keyboard.
