Rock Band Rickrolling Will Be Possible Soon Enough

Harmonix claims its inclusion of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” in the next round of Rock Band Network track offerings is done in the name of love. After all, the four new songs are available on Valentine’s Day. But let me be the first to call shenanigans on this. You knew it was only a matter of time until Rickrolling was possible with plastic instruments. Come on, it’s even done on subways, for heaven’s sakes!

In addition to Astley’s Internet classic, Heart’s “Alone,” Mr. Big’s “To Be With You” and Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” The “Gold Star My Heart Pack” is available for $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) or $1.99 individually (160 MSP). Admit it: You’re totally Rickrolling the two friends who’ll still play Rock Band with you. Don’t believe me? Watch the trailer after the jump.
