Rocksmith Celebrates the Season with Free DLC

Well, if you were hoping for something free and easy to do with that new guitar-shaped bundle sitting under the tree Christmas Day, looks like Ubisoft’s got you covered. The newest batch of DLC for Rocksmith is totally free and — drum roll — holiday themed! “Carol of the Bells” by Seth Chapala, “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen” by Brian Adam McCune and “We Three Kings” by Versus Them are now available through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Store.

One of the things that sets Rocksmith apart from other rhythm games is the fact that it’s designed as a tool to help players learn its songs on a real guitar. At least Justin seems to be doing a pretty good job of it.
