With the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V released this past April also came the Rockstar Editor, an in-game tool allowing users to create their own video clips and machinima – while it’s been several months in progress, the wait is almost over for fans looking to create their own GTA-inspired videos on PS4 and Xbox One.

Rockstar Games confirmed that the Rockstar Editor tool will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One in the next update for Grand Theft Auto V on those respective platforms, with the studio confirming the news while announcing the winners of its “Ill-Gotten Gains” fan contest.

Going beyond just an in-game video recorder, the Rockstar Editor allows users to create, edit, and share videos while also applying various effects, filters, camera angles, and more alongside the feature’s “Director Mode,” allowing easier creation of machinima and short films.

Grand Theft Auto V is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
