With Max Payne 3’s Disorganized Crime downloadable content less than a week away, Rockstar Games has taken the liberty of releasing a few screenshots to hold over those anxiously awaiting the release of the DLC.
The highlights of the DLC pack are additions that are being made to the single-player arcade and story modes, as well as a new multiplayer map. For those who indulge themselves in the score-attack mode in arcade single-player, explosive rounds – exactly what it sounds like – are being added, as well as more aggressive and headstrong artificial intelligence in the form of “Lone Wolf A.I.” One modification being made to the single-player story is “Noir Mode,” which will allow the player to experience the main game in black-and-white, much like film-noir and hardboiled detective films of the 1930s and 40s. The game’s multiplayer mode will see the addition of the Hoboken Rooftops map.
Max Payne 3’s Disorganized Crime DLC Pack will be released on August 28th, 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. It is also free. A small gallery of screenshots of the pack is available below.
