Darewise Entertainment has announced that its persistent world and multiplayer co-op experience ROKH has released on Steam Early Access. A launch trailer has released providing an idea of what players can expect to find on the red planet.

In ROKH players land on Mars to find that the planet’s most recent colonization efforts have mysteriously failed. Over the course of the game, players will explore Mars, scavenging merely to survive the harsh landscape, and hopefully discovering what has gone so horribly wrong.

In the statement about ROKH’s release, Benjamin Charbit, CEO of Darewise Entertainment, said that the goal for the game was to make a persistent world that allows players creative freedom.

“ROKH is more than just a sci-fi survival game, it's a complete colonization experience, with tailored crafting and construction, all taking place  in a lovingly crafted visual world and wrapped up in a mysterious story. We’ve focused our development efforts on cooperative building and crafting which brings free form creation to the genre.”

Darewise Entertainment is made up of just some of the minds behind titles such as Thief, Half-Life 2, Dishonored, Age of Conan, and Assassin’s Creed.
