Traveller’s Tales has established a reputation of taking some of the most beloved movie franchises and turning them into LEGO video games. By infusing just the right amount of camp, action and of course, ample inclusion of actual LEGOs, the franchise has risen to a significant level of notoriety.

It has been alleged that toy reviewers and bloggers have received early physical sets of the LEGO Lord of the Rings line that show TT’s and Warner Bros.’s logos on the outside of the box. With no official word on this title as of yet, gamers will have to cross their fingers and hope for an announcement at E3 next month, or the near future.

The next installment in the LEGO video game series will be LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, slated for release on June 1^st, 2012 in North America, and June 27^th, 2012 in Europe.
