The first batch of screenshots for the upcoming Namco Bandai brawler Saint Seiya Senki have been published by Famitsu.com. The game, scheduled for release on PS3 this fall (In Japan of course), is based on the Saint Seiya manga and anime saga, incredibly popular especially in many European countries, where men from my generation (now in their early thirties) basically grew up with it's epic storyline and vibrant characters.

You can see the screenshot gallery beyond the jump.

While Namco Bandai is sadly well known for stubbornly refusing to localize many of their anime-based games in the west, Gundam being the worst offender, the previous PS2 Saint Seiya games were indeed published in Europe, so we can still hold to a faint glimmer of hope to see this game released in a language most of us can understand.
