Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada Gets First English Trailer and New Screenshots

Today Koei Tecmo released the first English trailer of Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada, which is the western title of Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru, released a few months ago in Japan.

The trailer is basically the Japanese one with English subtitles, but we still get the gist of the game, that plays across the generations of the Sanada clan in 48 years od its history culminating with Sanada Yukimura.

You can check out the trailer below, alongside a batch of screenshots and artwork.

You can also check out the Producer’s comment on why the game focuses on the Sanada clan. For some reason he doesn’t mention that last year in Japan they aired an extremely popular drama series on Sanada Yukimura, but I guess that would sound banal.

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada releases for PS4 and Steam on May 26th in Europe and May 23rd in North America.
