Korean-based studio DreamingTec have unveiled their newest mobile game, Sardonyx Tactics, a game which hopes to bring back the magic of the SRPG genre for gamers on the go.

Based around the idea of magic becoming an endangered resource after a great war between heroes and “the Devil,” an average boy named Edward has been having painful, mysterious dreams that lead he and his friends to a group of vigilantes trying to stop a sudden increase of monsters. Players will control Edward and his allies through an unfolding story with multiple scenarios, more than 70 original stages, choices that influence the ending, and more. Players will be able to choose up to 12 comrades to aid them on their quest, six of whom can be used during battle, made up of seven different classes: Warrior, Martial Artist, Swordsman, Thief, Archer, Mage, and Priest.

Sardonyx Tactics has been published by Zero Rock Entertainment, and is currently available on both iOS and Android devices, via the App Store and Google Play, respectively.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
