Sony has revealed that they'll sell a season pass for the upcoming Naught Dog developed PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. The season pass will be available digitally and through GameStop and it will allow players to download all three of forthcoming expansion packs for the game when they are released. The seasons pass offers a saving of "over 30%" compared to buying each expansion pack à la carte, which suggests that the expansion packs themselves will cost around $10 each.

The first DLC release will include new single player content, while the other two packs will add maps and such for the multi-player.

Buying the season pass will also grant players a variety of "Day 1 DLC Bonuses". These include enhancements such as an increased clip size for the game's rifle. As the name implies, the bonuses will be available from the day of the game's launch. The bonuses include: Increased Crafting Speed, Increased Healing Speed, 9mm Reload Speed Upgrade, Rifle Clip Capacity Upgrade, and Grounded – an exclusive 90min “Making of The Last of Us” documentary.

Furthermore, the digital version of the game, as well as the season pass, can now be pre-ordered from the PlayStation Store. The Last of Us will be available on 14th.
