Scalebound: There Are “Much Bigger and Crazier” Things Coming; Can Be Played Entirely in Co-Op

During Microsoft’s E3 live coverage, Scalebound Director Hideki Kamiya gave more details on the upcoming action-RPG for Xbox One and Windows 10.

Kamiya-san mentioned that while they don’t want to give away too many surprises, the dungeon showcased in yesterday’s demo isn’t the only dungeon in the game, and there are more bosses on top of the giant scorpion boss that we saw. There are “much bigger and crazier” things coming.

Bosses are built specifically with co-op in mind. This can be seen for instance in the three tails of the scorpion boss. They need to be able to attack in different directions at the same time.

Another interesting element is that co-op isn’t just a mode. The entire game can be played in co-op, or you can play it entirely by yourself. The game scales accordingly. How you want to play the game is up to you.
