Today, one-man development studio Wizard Fu and publisher Double Eleven announced that Songbringer is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux sometime this summer.

Songbringer, is a procedurally generated action RPG set in a 13,000 B.C. Milky Way, that often draws comparisons to Zelda. The game stars Roq, a shirtless carefree dude just cruising the galaxy in search of the ultimate party aboard the space-faring art party ship, Songbringer. However, soon Roq accidentally awakens an ancient evil army, and the galaxy as he knows it is thrown into war. Now it's up to Roq and his trusty sidekick, Jib, to save the galaxy from total destruction.

Songbringer boasts a procedurally-generated overworld with ten dungeons in 3/4 perspective. When players start the game, they will enter a six-letter "world seed code," which in turns spits out one of 308 million unique environment combinations. The result is that no two adventures are ever the same, unless you share a code with someone. The seed codes are said to generate the world dynamically and deterministically, so entering the same seed will always generate the same world.

The game also is said to pack "a rich, immersive storyline and a fantastical sci-fi universe littered with secrets." It also features hidden realms, which Roq can see by utilizing the powers of the rare cacti in the world. These realms will reveal doors, items, and other loot that can help you on your journey.

Meanwhile the combat is described as action-packed and features several unique weapons, such as the epic and humming nanosword, the boomerang-like top hat, the ghost sword projectile, and plenty of bombs.

The game can be played alone or with a friend via local co-op, where the second player will play as Jib, your robot companion with a strange propensity for moustaches.

Throughout your journey you will need to "overcome crowded mobs, virus androids, gigantic bosses and solve a series of puzzles to get you back where you belong; at peace and partying the night away on the Songbringer as you sail the solar winds of the galaxy with your friends."

A price point has not been revealed. Below, you can check the game out for yourself:
