Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice...

So the funny thing is, last week there was a post to Bryan Lee O'Malley's Tumblr account that seemed to announce that the Online Play DC--which would also add Wallace Wells as a character--was finally going to be released soon, after gamers have waited since last year for a solid release date. Just as soon, it disappeared. I thought I was imagining things.

Well apparently, Destructoid received word that the content has been delayed--again--with the following statement:

The downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game has been delayed for fine-tuning and to incorporate feedback from the passionate Scott Pilgrim community. Ubisoft is addressing feedback from the community on the best ways to honor retro games in the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game DLC in an accurate and respectful manner. Ubisoft, and the new team developing the DLC, respect creative properties and, of course, want to be sure to deliver a game experience that is a proper tribute to the Scott Pilgrim franchise.

This sounds like they're trying to offer a better package to gamers than we expect--hell, I think most of us were just expect the ability to play the game online, not anything bigger than that--but hopefully all of this waiting leads to better content.

So I'll stop whining... for now.
