With the upcoming second annual DICE Europe Conference 2014 set to take place this fall, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) and Video Games Intelligence (VGI) announced that Microsoft corporate vice president Phil Harrison will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming conference.
While at the DICE Europe Conference, Harrison will speak specifically on the challenges and visions for the interactive entertainment heading into the future, as Harrison will speak under this year’s theme for the conference titled “Without Borders.” Specifically, the theme will focus on the increasing global nature of gaming, emerging new markets, and the leading companies and developers driving such change.
The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences spoke in a press statement:
“The Academy is honored to have Phil lead the conversation around our theme, Without Borders, as we look to spur discussion among all attendees about how our creative culture is tackling, and succeeding, in shaping a world where the boundaries of technology, products, and communication are starting to disappear,” said Martin Rae, president, Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. “Also, many thanks to our Video Games Intelligence partners, whose passion and commitment to bringing the D.I.C.E. brand to Europe have helped expand our own borders!”
The second annual DICE Europe Conference 2014 will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel Kensington in London on September 23-24, 2014.
