Section 8 is an original IP from TimeGate Studios. It is a futuristic FPS where the main protagonist, Alex Corde is suited up in an armour that provides him  with regenerative health capabilities and the allows for the absorption of enemy damage. Where have I seen this concept before? It has a new feature called "burning in" where you esentially sky dive off of a ship in the atmosphere (A La Star Trek) and into the battle, instead of the traditional respawn. This allows the player to pick a spot on the map and land there, right back into the action. Anyway, Section 8 made it's debut earlier this summer and from the looks of it, the title does look quite promising. Using the unreal Engine, it doesn't fail to impress graphically, hopefully the gameplay is just as compelling.

This morning through a press release, after re-launching their website as www.joinsection8.com we've come to learn that not only will TimeGate Studios have a beta for this action packed shooter, but that registrations are open right now.
