The May update for the Xbox One is now live and a newly released video shows us some of the additions and changes.

One of the big additions is voice messages, which Major Nelson says was the top requested feature for friends and parties. Voice messages can be exchanged between Xbox One’s and Xbox 360’s, which is pretty cool. Also new is the ability to power your console on and off via the Smart glass app. Forthcoming additions include dedicated servers for party chat.
