See Beyond the Labyrinth in 3D, You Won’t Be Disappointed

Beyond the Labyrinth is the second of two tri-Ace-developed RPGs they have in the works. This one happens to be on the 3DS and, to show off that fact, they released a bunch of new 3DS-only screens. The catch here is that, well, we can’t really show them to you, you’ll have to go see for yourself.

Over on the game’s official site, there’s a link you can click right about where it shows the three screens. This link will let you download a ZIP file with three images with an MPO file name. These images, my friend, you can pop on your SD card to view in 3D on your 3DS. Now, a bunch of Japanese sites were also given exclusive images in their packages, so you can go check out Dengeki, Famitsu, GAME Watch, 4Gamer and Inside-Games. At their own sites you can nab their exclusive images, especially if you want a full set of screens.

I dropped the original three from the official site onto my 3DS and they actually look really cool, with depth used in some surprising ways. One of the images has the camera near the ground, looking up at the girl (main character?) and then, farther above her, a building rises with its arches and pathways. It’s all displayed with great depth and rather striking visual style. You should check ’em out!
