The latest developer diary for Warhorse's upcoming realistic medieval RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is about the world's NPCs and how they behave.

Every NPC (or non playable character) is an individual with their own routines. They will act and react dynamically to the world. One example that was given was of an NPC who goes to the pub after work each evening. If the pub is full he would then go do something else instead. This also translates into how the NPCs react to your player character. If you're running around with your sword drawn they will natural be scared or wary of you.

The video also goes into some of the technical details of how the A.I works and how the entire world itself can be thought of as one giant NPC.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is currently in development for the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
