The folks over at Digital Foundry visually dissect Ubisoft’s biggest game of the year, Watch Dogs on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Digital Foundry’s graphical analysis on the next-gen versions of Watch Dogs got some very interesting results.

Take a look at how Watch Dogs stacks up on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Here’s a frame rate test for both the PS4 and Xbox One. Turns out that both systems have the frame rates capped at 30fps.

Next we have a PS4 vs PC Ultra Settings Comparison.

The Xbox One and PC Ultra Settings duke it out next.

Here’s a stutter test comparing the Nvidia GTX 780 Ti to the Radeon R9 290X graphics card on the PC. As you can even with this impressive hardware Watch Dogs still has issues hitting optimal performance on both cards.

Their final verdict is that the PS4 version of Watch Dogs comes out on top just edging out the Xbox One with a more consistent performance with higher resolution. Another interesting note is that both consoles ran Watch Dogs better than the PC version. “Watch Dogs on PC should be the best version of the game” according to Digital Foundry when they had issues trying to hit 60fps/1080p on the PC. You can check out a more detailed report of all their tests right here.
