See Part of the Heated Battle Between Master and Pupil in Divinity: Dragon Commander

Larian Studios announced an exciting match up between the master Octaaf and his pupil, Lorean, last week. Today, we get to see some of the highlights of that multiplayer battle, with live commentary to help keep track of things. Divinity: Dragon Commander will be released for PC on August 6th.

The match itself was quite excellent, with both Octaaf and Lorean going back and forth in a near even match-up until a  victor was decided at the very end, after a surprising twist of events. I won’t spoil it for you but one of the combatants would have most likely won if he hadn’t made a huge error of judgment.

Dragon Commander itself seems to play incredibly well, with balanced and fast-paced but heavily strategic combat. The multiplayer looks perfectly suited for competitive play and just plain fun to play.
