See Skullgirls’ Newest Stage in Color

on May 1, 2013 9:30 PM

Lab Zero has shared a colored painting of the New Meridian Rooftops, one of the new stages being developed for their popular 2D fighter Skullgirls. This painting uses “flat colors”, meaning that the final painting will look much brighter and livelier. Is it just me or do the zeppelins and architecture somewhat remind you of BioShock Infinite? Really, it’s just me? Oh well. Just in case you were interested, this is not a bonus stage but is in fact Squigly’s stage. I’m not sure what I expected, but doesn’t this seem a bit odd for a zombie opera singer? You don’t think so? Really, it’s just me? Oh well.

Squigly, as well as the PC version of Skullgirls, are expected to be released sometime in July. See the full painting of the stage below.
