Sega and Creative Assembly have announced that they have a multi-title licensing deal with Games Workshop to work on games based in the Warhammer universe.

Creative Assembly has set up a new team to work with Total War, Alien, and mobile teams on the first Warhammer title in the deal that is planned for launch beyond 2013. This project is one of five projects being worked on by Creative Assembly that includes Total War: Rome II and an unannounced Alien title.

Fans of Warhammer and its world of fantasy will have something to look forward to in a couple years.
