A couple weeks ago Sega teased the re-release of Daytona USA. today they confirmed it. The classic racing game will be released on the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade for the price of $9.99 or 800 microsoft points.

American PS3 games will be able to get the game on October the 25th, while their Xbox-using cousins will be given access one day later, on October the 26th. If you live in Europe you’ll have to wait longer (we’re getting used to it, I guess), as the game won’t be released on this side of the Atlantic before late November.

The re-release features improved graphics, 16:9 aspect ratio, steering wheel support, online multiplayer and the classic cherished sountrack also available in karaoke mode. Everyone wants to sing “Rolling staaaaaaaaart!” No doubt.
