Sega Teases New Game Codenamed Project 575: Possible Space Channel 5 Successor?

on June 19, 2013 5:27 AM

Sega just opened a new teaser website for a new game codenamed “Project 575“.

While absolutely nothing has been shared about the game for the moment, the site included a teaser video that shows the silhouettes of two girls named Masaoka Azuki and Kobayashi Mana while they introduce themselves in a style that definitely recalls rhythm and idol management games. They also fit the typical Japanese manzai trope with Azuki being hyper and cheerful and Mana responding in a cold and collected way.

Many will see this theory as farfetched, but if you mirror the logo (that you can see above) and consider the big circle around the 7, it reads “SOS” and this reminds me of “Spaceship SOS“. remember Space Channel 5?

Maybe I’m completely off target, and the two ladies mentioned above definitely don’t look like Ulala, but you never know. You can see the video below and judge for yourself.
