Today, Square Enix officially announced the Seiken Densetsu Collection for Nintendo Switch.
The collection will be released in Japan on June 1st, and cost 4,800 yen ($43) plus taxes, and will include the following games.
- Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden (previously published in the west as Final Fantasy Adventure)
- Seiken Densetsu II (published in the west as Secret of Mana)
- Seiken Densetsu III (never released in the west, only fan translations exist).
The Nintendo Switch version will include a couple of new features: quick save will let you save anywhere in the games, Music Mode will let you access all the music from the games from the main menu, Aspect Ratio Change (only for Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden) will let you select the aspect ratio you prefer.
Below you can check out the announcement trailer, and a batch of screenshots from the press release, portraying all three games, on top of the Japanese box art.
At the moment, we have no word of a possible localization, even if the lack of previous western release for Seiken Densetsu III might prove to be an obstacle.
