At an autograph signing event at Tokyo’s Pokemon Center, series director Junichi Masuda was asked by a fan if there would be a third entry to the Pokemon Black/White saga. Pokemon tradition dictates that each color set of games typically gets a third title sometime down the line.

Masuda is reported saying,  “Well, there’s no reason to expect me to know that… But I can’t answer. But… but… I wonder if it’s alright to say this….Watch Pokemon Smash… if you want details.”

Pokemon Smash is a program that runs in Japan every Sunday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. As a follow up, Masuda tweeted yesterday, “Don’t forget to watch next week’s Pokemon Smash!!!! For people who can’t watch it, check out my tweets!!!””
