Serious Sam 3:BFE Delayed

Unfortunately, Serious Sam 3: BFE fans will have to wait a bit of extra time for Serious Sam to come back, as The Escapist reports that the newest iteration of the series has been delayed.  The delay is not a terribly long one, but will put the game out after games like Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3.  The game is now expected to come out on November 22, instead of its original October 18 release date.

Luckily, Serious Sam is awesome enough that that the delay should not affect sales and instead will serve to make the game more awesome.  The reason given for the delay by the chief creative director of developer Croteam, Davor Hunski, was the game needed more polish, which is totally acceptable.  “The team wants to take a little extra time to make it perfect for Serious Sam fans worldwide,” Hunski said.  This kind of perfection is fine by me, as according to Hunski, the team is tweaking balance, bugs and adding more monsters to the hordes you fight.  If you’re really itching for some Serious Sam action before November, try the awesome gun-stacking, 2-D awesomeness of Serious Sam: Double D, which our very own Allen Park highly recommends.
