Today, 2K Games announced via a new trailer that this year’s cover wrestler for WWE 2K18 would be none other than “The Architect” Seth Rollins. The trailer for the game features Rollins as he destroys many other notable items that represent both past and current wrestlers.

Rollins spoke about the announcement and what it means for him personally saying:

“As the WWE 2K18 cover Superstar and franchise ambassador, it is my incredible honor and mission to ensure this game will truly BE LIKE NO ONE – a calling card perfect for everything I stand for – as it sets forth on its own unique path. Following in the footsteps of other WWE 2K cover Superstars – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar – I now carry the torch and proudly represent a new generation of WWE Superstars. I am the future, and the future can’t be stopped.

On top of the announcement of Rollins gracing this year’s cover, both the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of WWE 2K18 were also detailed today. The Deluxe Edition of the game will be available in bot physical and digital varieties and will release 4 days early on October 13 for those who pre-order it. It will contain the following benefits:

The Collector’s Edition of WWE 2K18 will receive the same early release date of October 13 for those who pre-order. However, it will only be available at participating retailers and as of now no specific details on what will be included in this bundle have been given. 2K has stated however that more information on the Collector’s Edition will be shared later this summer.
